If you’re a fan of competitive fighting games, then you’re in luck: the Onslaught Tournament Series is back for it’s second year! (The first year was a huge success, but it’s still going!) The tournament series is a 12-week regular season of weekly tournaments, where players compete for a share of the $1000 prize pool, culminating in an online, double elimination tournament where the top 2 players will be flown out to Canada to compete in front of a live audience for the title of ONSLAUGHT TOURNAMENT YEAR 2, SERIES 2 CHAMPIONS!
Onslaught is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game. It is available on Steam and has a massive and dedicated fan base. The game is similiar to League of Legends, but much more complex and difficult. It will have a tournament series of seasons, each one being a different type of match and a different format. We will be hosting seasons 1, 2, and 3 of the ONSLAUGHT TOURNAMENT SERIES YEAR 2, SEASON 2: REGISTRATION OPEN UNTIL SEPTEMBER 10!
The ONSLAUGHT TOURNAMENT SERIES is a competitive gaming championship series organised by thinkofgames.com and hosted in association with NBA and Gamestop. Each year, thinkofgames.com picks a popular action game and puts together a series of tournaments to determine the best players in the world. Past tournaments have featured games such as Call of Duty, Halo, and NHL. For more details and the latest tournament details, go to:

Welcome to the community-run Onslaught Tournament Series’ Year 2 Season 2!
Format and rules Walkthrough: September 9th, 4-7pm UTC, 12-3pm ET, 6-9 CEST, 5-8pm BST (twitch.tv/exanimia_)
Tier 1 (Cata 1 Deathwish Onslaught) games will take place on September 10th at the same time as the above (off-stream)

Tier 3 (Cata 3 Deathwish Onslaught+) games will be held on September 12th at the same time as the previous games.
The tournament structure puts teams of four players to the test, allowing them three hours to finish four maps in a particular sequence, with three tries each map. Each unsuccessful attempt subtracts points from a team’s total score, with forfeited maps reducing the whole map’s score.
Please join the event to get access to the rules and regulations as well as to register.

There is a complete list of regulations, however there are three noteworthy rules worth noting here:
Or face disqualification, all teams must be able to make a recording on the same day as the event, or broadcast it and have an available vod to review.
Teams MUST utilize the Tourney Balance Mod to offer gamers more team and career diversity while also providing a more balanced competition atmosphere (patch notes document can be found here).
Onslaught+ is presently undergoing an update by Iceolator. Teams should download and use the archived version of the mod, which can be found here.
On top of that, on the second and third days of the event, a shoutcast featuring shoutcasters Ishka and Grimalackt, the original inventor of Onslaught, will be broadcast at https://www.twitch.tv/fightthetide. This season, a portion of the profits from channel subscriptions/bits/etc will be used to help people impacted by the floods in Germany, as well as Moopshark during his family’s difficulty.
Registration is now available! Please specify your team name, the names of each of your members, and the tier you’d want to participate in in the relevant discord channel.
I hope to see everyone there!
