Let’s assume you purchased a monthly subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $1 through your main account on your Xbox. Be sure to disable recurring billing before the trial end date. I was once charged $15 for forgetting to turn off recurring invoices. Two weeks into the second month, I noticed that I hadn’t changed my Xbox accounts and hastily called my card statement to find out that Microsoft had charged the usual subscription fee. In short, by allowing the rebilling of my account, I lost $15. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to disable this feature immediately after purchasing a trial subscription.
What should I do when my subscription ends?
Every two months, you’ll need to create a new Microsoft account, re-subscribe to a trial card subscription (and yes, Microsoft has no restrictions on trial card subscriptions, unlike Netflix), and add it to your Xbox.
If your subscription to the main account runs out, you can use your brother’s account to get a trial version for one dollar. You have a lawsuit using the accounts of all your relatives? It’s time to create other accounts that you will only use to buy the trial version. These new accounts can be deleted one month after the end of the trial period.
To avoid confusion, remove the old account each time you add a new account at the beginning of the month. The trial subscription you received for this new account is available for all profiles on your Xbox.
