To the surprise of nobody, Michael Keaton has been cast to play Batman in Batgirl. The film is a part of DC’s female-led superhero expansion and will have Barbara Gordon playing Batwoman as well. It remains unclear if Bruce Wayne will make an appearance or not but fans are excited regardless.

In 2022, Michael Keaton will wear the cape and cowl for a number of projects. Following a flurry of speculations and a statement from DC Films president Walter Hamada announcing Keaton’s involvement in The Flash, it has now been confirmed that he has also signed on for Batgirl.
Although little information about the picture has been released, Michael Keaton will not be the only performer returning. Commissioner Gordon will be played by J.K. Simmons, who previously played him in Batman v Superman and Justice League. Firefly will be played by Brendan Frasier, while Barbara Gordon will be played by Leslie Grace (In the Heights) (Batgirl). The film will be released in 2022.
During this year’s virtual FanDome event, DC handed Flash fans a teaser. In the film, The Flash will travel across numerous realms and meet different versions of well-known people.
Some may see this as an effort to replicate the current popularity of Spider-Man: No Way Home, although the picture has been in development since 2019 and was first announced more than seven years ago. The plot will be based on the Flashpoint comic book from 2010. The title from the comic book was utilized in early trailers for the film.
The comic has incorporated alternate timelines and the multiverse as ideas. The version with Michael Keaton will not be the only one utilized. Ben Affleck, according to director Andy Muschietti, will also star in the film. In the past, Barry Allen has been known to run across several copies of the same character.
On November 4, 2022, The Flash will be released in theaters.
