Project Aces, a game development division of Bandai Namco, has confirmed that they are working on a new title for their Ace Combat franchise. Ace Combat Infinity, the last game in the Ace combat series, was released in 2012 and did not sell as well as Namco would have liked. The last Ace Combat game, Ace Combat Assault Horizon, was released in 2010, and as a result, Namco has decided to take another shot at the franchise with a new title.
Project Aces, which was formerly known as Project Aces, has announced its next title, which will be called Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. The game will be developed by a new studio called Project Aces, which is led by a veteran of the Ace Combat series, Kazutoki Kono. As of today, there is no information on gameplay, release date, or platforms, but a release date for the game is expected in 2018.
While Ace Combat Infinity was released in 2012, the franchise is far from dead. Last year, Project Aces confirmed that Infinity was a reboot of the franchise, which in turn was a reboot of the series. That series was itself a reboot of the franchise, which in turn was a reboot of the series, etc. etc.. Read more about ace combat 8 and let us know what you think.

Bandai Namco and Project Aces have announced that they are working on a sequel to Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, which was released in 2019. The announcement was made in a digest video of a special program commemorating the franchise’s 25th anniversary, which was posted on the official Ace Combat YouTube account today.
Although Project Aces did not disclose the game’s subtitle or other plot information, the upcoming Ace Combat edition is expected to include a larger and younger squad of Aces. That implies, for better or worse, Ace Combat 8 gamers should anticipate even more radio talk than they’ve seen in previous editions.
ILCA will join Project Aces in the development of Ace Combat 8. That shouldn’t come as a surprise to anybody who played Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, since parts of the seventh installment’s landscapes and cinematic sequences were created by the Japanese game and CG production firm. It’s also renowned for its contributions to a number of Pokémon games (e.g., Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl).
Despite the fact that Ace Combat 8 is still under production, Project Aces has said that additional DLC for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is still in the works. These include a free upgrade that adds Japanese Air Self-Defense Force aircraft skins as well as a selection of iconic songs for online combat. On August 31, 2021, fans of Ace Combat will be able to download the new DLC.
Since its release on January 31, 2019, Ace Combat 7: Skies has sold over 2.5 million copies. Keiki Kobayashi, one of the franchise’s main composers and the man behind some of the Ace Combat games’ best soundtracks, is expected to return for the eighth edition.
In 2020, Ace Combat celebrated its 25th anniversary. A condensed edition of the special program that looks back with the staff who have supported the creation of succeeding series is published in advance, from the first Ace Combat to the most recent Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown! The major narrative will be published in the near future.
