Starting with Black Panther, Marvel’s Avengers is getting Black Panther, which will be released a little later this year, as well as a full expansion called War For Wakanda. The expansion brings a new story, new Klaw enemies, a new outpost, new hero outfits, and a power level cap increase. Clow will also be coming into the game as a brand new villain. In addition to Black Panther, Square Enix has shared a detailed roadmap for 2021, which includes the previously announced Spider-Man for the game. The next-gen updates are now available to all players who own the PS4 or Xbox One version of the game. Players can also purchase the game now on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S. New hero: Hawkeye is one of the most iconic archers ever! We got to know Clint Barton as Hawkeye in Operation Kate Bishop, in which she brought him back from the brink of a major IAM conspiracy involving the manipulation of time itself. A mentor and close friend of Kate Bishop, Clint and Kate have similarities in their skills as mentors and protégés, but they are still two different fighters, each with their own style. You’ll need to unlock Hawkeye in an upcoming Imperfect Operation to play him in the Avengers Initiative. Hawkeye is available at no extra cost!
Operation Impeccable Future – Hawkeye’s story takes us to a possible future where all hope is lost. With the help of the rest of the Avengers – and his canine companion Lucky – Clint must discover Nick Fury’s exact location and stop the impending Kree invasion. Conquer new wastelands, battle the Maestro – a Hulk gone mad with the intelligence of Banner – and protect Lucky aboard a helicopter in Operation Future Flawless.
You don’t need to have completed the Build campaign or Operation Take AIM to begin Future Imperfect, but we highly recommend that you do as key plot points are introduced in the previous stories and we build a continuous story from Kamala’s origins in Jersey City to where Future Imperfect takes us and beyond. You can start Future Imperfect by selecting it from the main menu or from the operations selector in Avengers Initiative.
Next Generation Upgrade – Players who own the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version of the game can upgrade to the full next generation version at no additional cost. Featuring revamped graphics, improved destruction and hero details, drastically reduced load times, cross-generational play, and more.
Players wishing to update their digital copy must go to their platform’s digital store and select the free update to begin the download. Players with a physical copy must own a next-gen console with a disc drive and insert the disc as part of the upgrade. It is not possible to switch from a physical copy to a next-generation digital console. If you want to transfer your stored data from one generation to the next, use the appropriate cloud computing system or a USB drive to pick up where you left off.

Migrating a PS4 to PS5 savegame – To migrate a savegame from PS4 to PS5, you need to launch the fully patched PS4 version and click on the Savegame Migration tab in the main menu to start the download. Once the migration is complete, launch the PS5 version, which will prompt you to download the data. Even if you have both the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game on the same console, the migration store is required to download the store to the PS5 version. You need to download the latest update for the PS4 version in order to download the PS5 version. If you are using a PS4 version of the game that has not been updated, the Save Game Migration tab will not appear and you will not be able to transfer save game data.
Campaign playback – the long-awaited feature is finally here. The replay campaign allows you to replay the entire campaign from the beginning. While campaign progress data is returned, you won’t lose any player progress, such as XP, character progress and collectibles you’ve obtained up to that point. In the operations selection, navigate to Rebuild Campaign and choose Reset Campaign Progress to start over on Day A. We can’t wait to see what photos come out of your photo mode iterations!
Customizable HARM Numbers – Many community members have expressed a desire to customize their HARM number to fit their individual superhero training. With this patch, we’ve introduced customizable HARM numbers! Through the War Table, players can customize their HARM Room experience to suit their needs. After a quick lesson, jump in and see what chaos you can unleash. Available on all platforms!
A new enemy: Cargo Runner Synthoid – The Cargo Runner Synthoid appears in various locations and is a new enemy that carries objects and tries to run away from any sign of danger. If you catch and destroy it, it will drop its load of resources – and maybe more. Keep your eyes peeled for these new enemy types.
New currency options – We will be introducing two new currency options to give players who want to buy credits more options.
