Trials of Osiris is a competitive multiplayer event in which teams of three players compete against each other to win as many matches as possible during a weekly period. The event takes place in the Crucible map Mercury and consists of consecutive matches with randomized settings. A new Trials Passage must be purchased from Brother Vance in the Tower each week for a cost of one Passage Coin and seven Motes of Light. Passage Coins can be acquired by finishing matches in the Trials of Osiris playlist or through the Trials of Osiris weekly bounties.

What are the tribulations of Osiris?
- Trials of Osiris is the epitome of PvP activity. Each weekend, the best players compete in a 3v3 elimination mode to achieve the same goal: Be impeccable.
- First go to the Saint-14 in the tower hangar and buy one of the possible passes (see below).
- To become immaculate and reach the lighthouse, you must win 7 games without losing a single one.
- It uses a win-based match selection system, meaning you play against teams with the same number of wins on their card. Matches get harder the more you win.
- There is NO team selection in the game. They need to join forces!
- The power level counts, but not the power bonus of the artifact.
