This week, both Microsoft and Electronic Arts have announced that their game subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, has added two new titles to its roster: Dirt Rally and Grid 2. Each title will be available to subscribers on May 31, and they will be available as part of the Ultimate subscription tier for $9.99 a month.
The first season of F1 2018 has concluded, and now the Formula One season is just getting started with the Canadian Grand Prix. If you want to take part in the action, you’ll need to grab a copy of the game. Thanks to the success of the latest title and the addition of its main competition, F1 2018 has a lot to offer on Xbox Live Gold. Microsoft has some exciting news for racing lovers who have paid to its popular gaming subscription service’s Ultimate tier. A fantastic collection of racing titles created by British game company Codemasters has joined Xbox Game Pass Ultimate courtesy of its EA Play advantage, as detailed in a new post published on Xbox Wire today.
F1 2020 and F1 2019 are two Formula One simulators in the collection. F1 2020, which was released last summer, is noteworthy for being the first game in the series to enable users to establish their own F1 teams, which may compete against legitimate teams and drivers.
Four games from Codemasters’ renowned off-road racing series, Dirt, are also included in the compilation. For rally enthusiasts who prefer simulations, Dirt Rally and Dirt Rally 2.0 are available, while Dirt 4 and Dirt 5 are suitable for those who want a more relaxed and arcade-like driving experience. In particular, Dirt 5 has a unique Playgrounds mode that allows players to create their own racing environment.
Grid, the fourth edition of Codemasters’ autosport series, is the last addition. Grid stands out with its array of famous racing vehicles and a career mode that puts players through their paces in a variety of event categories, putting them against other tough racers in head-to-head clashes.
Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan costs $14 a month and includes over 100 high-quality console and PC games just like the PC and Console tiers but adds EA Play, a library of select EA titles, as well as the ability to play select games from the cloud on mobile and other devices. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate also includes Xbox Live Gold, which includes perks such as free games to play every month via the Games With Gold program.
All of these games are also accessible starting today through EA Play for those who are solely subscribing to EA’s subscription service, as mentioned above. The additions come after EA purchased Codemasters for $1.2 billion earlier this year.

EA and Codemasters are ecstatic to add racing games from three well-known racing brands to the already-burgeoning EA Play library. EA Play is available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers at no extra cost, so you can start playing these games right now as part of your membership.

The Essential Reading List for the F1 Racing Fan As you may know, I’m a huge F1 fan. I’ve been playing the series since the first F1 Racing came out on the original Xbox and I’ve been picking up the last new F1 game every year since then. And this year, the latest installment in the franchise, F1 2018, released on PC in June, making it my sixth favorite F1 game (and my favorite F1 racing game). But, I’ve been playing F1 2018 a ton since it came out for just about every reason aside from F1. And, there’s one thing that’s been on my mind for a while now: F1, Dirt, and Grid: The Official Video Game. Read more about xbox game pass deals and let us know what you think.
