After months of speculation, Gigabyte has officially launched its new AMD X570 chipset based motherboards. The new X570A and X570G series motherboards are aimed at providing users with a solid foundation for building a powerful gaming PC.
The X570A (model AG2) and X570G (model AG3) series, feature triple M.2 (3x Gen3 x4), an onboard U.S. electrical outlet, dual-band 802.11ac WIFI, and a rear-panel RGB LED Effect. The new X570 series will also be compatible with the previously released AMD X470 chipset based motherboards.
The AMD X570 chipset was launched in 2018, and Gigabyte has already confirmed that it will support the upcoming Radeon RX 590 and Radeon RX 590X. The boards are designed to fit both the AMD AM4 Socket and the updated AMD X570 socket, meaning they are backwards-compatible with existing AM4 motherboards.
