The latest version of the popular baseball simulator is out for PlayStation and Xbox. UMLB The Show 21 update 9 was released on January 19th, and you can download it from the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store.

Developer SIE San Diego Studio has released the latest update for MLB The Show 20 9, which makes some minor changes to the franchise, the stadium, online head-to-head and more. Unlike the last update that came out last month, Update 9 for MLB The Show 21 includes many changes. MLB’s The Show 9 update is expected on the 19th. June at 4:00 PT) will be available for download. MLB The Show 21 Update 9 Patch Notes
General
- All versions of legends Ivan Rodriguez, Johnny Bench and Gary Carter now possess a Pop Time quirk. OPINION: The Eigenart will appear in the player’s items tab after the content is deployed on 6/22/21 (around noon Pacific time).
Head to Head Online
- Fixed a bug that could occur when a player had a map open on the screen while another player was disconnected.
- Fixed an issue where home run replays would not play when an opponent pressed X (PlayStation) / A (Xbox).
- Fixed a rare bug that could occur when exiting Showdown from the program menu.
- Fixed an issue that allowed players to enter the pause menu after a pitcher was injured.
- The friendly exit button has been changed from Square (PlayStation) / X (Xbox) to X (PlayStation) / A (Xbox).
- Fixed an issue where a runner could get a free base on a steal attempt if the batter was hit by a pitch on a late pitch attempt.
- Fixed bug that caused players to get blocked when a user intentionally walked multiple batters, walked away and threw to home plate.
This update does not change movement balance or gameplay.
Steps
- Information about the appearance of the records is now displayed on the jumbotrons at American Family Field and Busch Stadium.
- Fixed a problem that allowed the ball to slide through the wall in the Angels phase.
- Fixed an issue with collisions in the goalpost area on the left side of American Family Field that sometimes caused the ball to roll back into the stadium.
Route to exhibition
- Made various corrections and adjustments to cameras and locker room displays.
- The statistics collected during the simulation are no longer taken into account when the programme is executed.
- Remarkable statistics are now displayed on the Jumbotrons
- Players are now eligible for rewards if they are on the injury list at the end of the season.
Franchise
- Fixed an issue where the default stadium image was displayed in the stadium assignment menu.
- Fixed an issue where the Swap option was not displayed for some players in the player search screen.
- The first game of the second half of the AA season was mistakenly called opening day.
UI
- The list of missions after the game now scrolls to show all completed missions, and no longer shows missions for programs that are already completed
- The bottom ticker is no longer displayed in the game’s shortcut menus.
- The break menu will no longer be displayed during injury time
- Other miscellaneous user interface improvements and fixes
Other
- Various bug fixes for various bugs
- Various updates in the play-by-play comments.
