The wolf teeth are not only proof that you are the greatest predator in the wilderness of Valheim; they also allow you to do more things.
Some Valheim items require wool teeth to process and upgrade, and have a surplus that may be useful for future use.
To get wolf teeth, you have to hunt them of course, but if you need more wolf teeth, it would be annoying to keep looking for new homes.

How do you grow a wolf’s tooth?
In mountain biomes, wolves are more likely to be found in the middle of the biome.
Wolves are more numerous in the Great Mountains biomes, but you also have to watch out for dragons that fly around and attack you, and for fenrings (werewolf-like creatures) that prowl around at night.
Hunting of wolves
If you want to get wolf teeth, you will eventually have to kill wolves, but this is not an easy task for beginners and those who are not prepared.
To take on the wolves, you must be able to get into the mountain biome. So make sure you use the Wolf Mech cape or the Lox cape to survive in the freezing zone.
If you don’t have the money to make such a cape, you can settle for a medium frost resistance to stay alive in the mountain landscape.
For more information on freeze-dried blends, see our guide to Valheim’s freeze-dried drinks.
Wolves can be deadly if they surround you, and it is best to wear a shield to ward off their attacks and kill them easily.
You can confront the wolves with a bow, but both can find you in their place, making it even more dangerous.
Cattle wolves
It may seem a little cruel, but you have to do what it takes to survive, and that may mean raising wolves to slaughter.
Wolves can be bred on the property by simply leaving sausages or raw meat on the property where they will eat, and they will automatically mate when in range.
Once a female has given birth to a wolf cub, you must wait until it has become a full wolf and continue to allow them to reproduce as long as you have enough adult wolves.
Kill as many as you need to get wolf teeth, but be sure to save a few so they can reappear for more supplies or to take you on adventures.
By taming and raising higher level wolves, you can get even more gifts from your cattle wolf.

Wolfsfang used
Wolf teeth are usually needed with silver, as they are used to make leggings for the wolf armor set, but they are also useful for another type of spear.
Below you can find recipes from Wolf Fung:
Armor
Weapon
To complete your wolf armor set, you need wolf teeth to create and improve the legs of the wolf armor.
The Wolffang spear is one of the most powerful weapons with piercing damage and the most powerful spear yet, requiring few resources.
Verdict
It’s not always easy to go to a mountainous area and come back with a bunch of wolf teeth, but there are always other options.
You can always tame a wolf and take it out of the mountain biomes to breed elsewhere, or just build an outpost where you keep it.
If you keep wolves in a mountainous biome for breeding purposes, they can become easy prey for wurds, so be careful where you leave them when you go to other bases or outposts.
The best way to maintain a constant number of wolves for farming and defense is to move them out of the mountain biome and into their main base.
