NEW FUNCTIONS
Red Room Takeover Event – Elena Belova has a problem with Black Widow. Several hacked HARM rooms will be available during this event, as well as new mission chains. These HARM chambers are for one player and also range from power level 1 to 120. Can you survive the takeover? For more information, read our previous blog HERE.
- In side missions, players will receive the new items in the push set if their hero has a strength level above 80. Heroes below level 80 receive custom equipment.
- For completing the main mission you will receive a badge, a large amount of Polychoron and upgrade modules. Heroes above level PL120 also get 1 item from the exotic set found in Last Avenger Standing. Heroes of level PL119 or lower receive equipment according to the scale.
- Evolving gear is a type of reward that moderately increases a player’s strength without having a fixed rarity. They improve the strength score, as does completing missions, but make sure the rarity matches the hero’s strength score.
Champion System – With the new champion system, heroes at level 50 can now earn XP to improve their combat skills. When a hero reaches level 50, the XP earned from that point onwards changes to champion XP, which is specific to each hero. When you’ve collected enough XP, you’ll level up, which unlocks new skills. For more information, read our previous blog HERE. Hero Catalyst – To complement the champion system, we are also introducing hero catalysts that increase the amount of XP you earn. From time to time they will be available on the market for free, and we look for other ways to earn them. Hero Catalysts are a great way to reunite with friends or level up heroes who haven’t reached level 50 yet.

Developer Comments: We’ve made a number of improvements to the gearshift lever to make it more efficient and consistent. These include upgrades to items dropped from enemies, missions, chests and what merchants sell. We’re less likely to throw away unnecessary stuff, but the stuff we do throw away is probably much more useful. The net effect of this change is that the power level will increase faster, although the number of items obtained from enemies is lower. Equipment scarcity has a greater impact on attributes at all strength levels. For example, a rare object of PL 33 will have more attribute points on average than an uncommon object of PL 33. In addition, the ranges of attribute points for higher power level objects have been increased. We have many more exciting improvements for the Gear, but we wanted to share them with you as soon as possible.
- Added secondary artifacts to all chests as possible items.
- Gold boxes are no longer rewarded with ordinary items.
- Bronze and silver cases have a reduced chance of receiving a regular item.
- Branded clothing is more likely to retain the preferred characteristics of the brand.
- In some missions, rewards with a fixed rarity have been replaced with rewards that change in rarity based on the current strength level of active heroes.
- Fixed an issue where Hero Set gear could have the same or lower attributes than Epic gear.
- Fixed an issue where dealers sometimes offered gear with incorrect rarity and strength. The effect of this change is that the seller will offer a higher reward for the hero as the hero’s power increases.
- Some missions have been improved so that the rewards are correct.
- Missions show more detailed secondary rewards when available.
- Removal of the malus on the rarity award for a low number of stars in missions.
- Fixed an issue where the Old Fashioned Beatdown achievement/trophy could sometimes not be tracked and unlocked correctly.
- In Gauntlet of Heroes, stages 1 through 8 sometimes give you regular gear in addition to other rewards. This will be fixed with the next patch.
- After the game, Red Room Takeover is over: Prime, the user interface incorrectly shows a reward of 10K XP, but the actual amount is 5K.
- Free Hero Catalyst: 3 days is not considered an asset when declared at the gun site.
