Recurring quests give you exclusive tokens and experience to unlock content unique to your current level.
They’re also random, meaning that if you’re playing with friends, you’ll both have completely different quests in completely different locations, even if you’re on the same level.
This means that if you try to play together, one of you will not get the rewards. So it’s best to play the game yourself.
Edit: To make matters worse. The enemies aren’t even different, you fight the exact same ghoul (even with the same color and abilities) but just in a different location with a different name lmao.

Let me explain.
- These are not daily searches. They are endlessly repetitive. Each time you complete them, you gain areas/status and chits. Tokens are the ONLY way to get certain endgame materials. After 15 hours of doing these repetitive quests, I’m at about 10% of the way to my first material to make the item I need for the end of the game.
- Missions are not what you think they are. They are so random that you can be asked to harvest potatoes from a certain farm 30 minutes away, and no, you cannot harvest potatoes from a farm 2 minutes away. You have to do it in a certain place that the quest tells you about. Not only are they deadly, they’re boring, like asking you to go fishing on the other side of the map.
- There are no group assignments. They’re all solo. There is a CONTENT group, but this content is only good for leveling up, but since there are 3 other leveling systems, you are wasting your time if you can do these quests that not only level you up, but also give you permanent upgrades and buffs, reputation and tokens for exclusive content.
- For someone who says this encourages players to find new people to play quests with, they are wrong. Actually doing quests is easy, the problem is that you spend more time doing quests than actually working on the quest. So I run 16 minutes to a certain location, but only need 3 minutes to kill skeletons. Then I ran backwards for 16 minutes and was told to run somewhere else. There is no point in having fun with every task. All the content that the group needs is not quest related. Usually people complain about how terrible the quests are.
If you refuse to complete these repetitive quests, you’ll be hampered by the weight of the crap while other players triple your weight. And at the end of the game, you’re doomed.

Most MMOs as we know them have some form of questing, whether it’s to tell a general story or as a way to get XP. As someone who usually plays single player games, I find these quests downright boring. It’s fair to say that MMO quests are a lot more fun than MMO quests.
