But it was originally supposed to come out in July. Sony Pictures decided to delay the film from its original release date in July to October 5th, 2018.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the sequel to Venom, has been postponed till October 15. The picture was supposed to be released on September 24, but it seems that the company has chosen to be cautious after the mixed analysis of previous releases.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage has been postponed for the fourth time. The sequel was supposed to be out in October 2020, however owing to worries about coronavirus, it was pushed back to June 2021. And, as Venom fans learned today, the symbiote-wearing anti-hero will not be returning to theaters in September, as was originally planned.

Sony Pictures’ most recent trailer and official website still only indicate that Venom: Let There Be Carnage will arrive “exclusively in movie theaters this fall,” so another delay may not be out of the question.

Tom Hardy reprises his role as Venom in Venom: Let There Be Carnage, a fresh tale that puts him against Carnage, one of Spider-Man and Venom’s greatest foes.
