I need to vent my frustration, because I just wasted over 15 hours of my life on God of War 2. I so hate the way the developers made this game, they completely ruined it for me, I can’t finish the second game, not because it’s hard, but because the quick time events are completely ruined, there is no way to press those buttons if you don’t assume the button is just me, I don’t know who can easily see who sees the icon, then immediately press the button without even thinking about it, and over time I might get lucky, but this 3% time cuts a minute, I spent about an hour to retest that the cuts is NOTHING I can do, I can’t cheat, I can’t do anything, I can’t play it out, I can’t do it twice, but I’m not going to spend another hour revisiting the damn scenario over and over again, I feel so defeated, so ruined, playing out the whole game and then just giving up, I tried everything I wanted to change, Too easy doesn’t make a difference, I’ve tried pausing the game as soon as the icon appears, like an old forum thread said, but even that’s not enough to press the button in time, because the pause menu doesn’t disappear fast enough to press the button, The timing is so ridiculous, I don’t understand what the developers were thinking.
Never in my life have I experienced a series of games where I gave up, no game was so hard for me it was impossible, I loathed the first game but I kept playing because I loved the story, You don’t know how much it hurt me to play the game to the end and then quit, having to search on youtube until the end, I know this will get a lot of hate but I had to vent because it completely ruined my week, I wanted to experience the story but the game was ruined by the gameplay, others may love the gameplay but for me it is the most frustrating game I have ever experienced, no game has ever been so terrible and frustrating, words cannot describe the hate and anger I have towards this series and its creators right now, I have no disrespect for the developers I know, people love the challenge but I have so much hate right now.
I’m so angry, so frustrated, so sad that I’ll never be able to finish this game unless I try again and again and again and maybe get lucky after the next hour, but I can’t describe the feeling of finishing a game like this because I’ve never done it before, AND as soon as I see the finale on youtube it’s over, I can’t go back after that, I feel like I have to throw up, I’m really hurting, I want to experience it for myself, I want to see it for myself, I want to finish the game but I can’t, and every time I throw up in anger, I have to redo the whole fight when I pause, when I get ejected, like it’s Playstation now.
