We’re all familiar with the premise of the Castlevania series, but with its latest entry, the game is taking the series in a new direction. In the past, the games have been released under the Konami “Grimoire of Souls” label, but now the company has announced that Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls will be exclusively available on the Apple App Store.
The Castlevania franchise is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year with a new game, Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls. It’s a stunning 2.5D side-scrolling platformer that takes place in a mix of 1920s Prohibition-era Chicago and Dracula’s dark castle.
The latest entry in Konami’s Castlevania franchise takes place in a game where you explore Dracula’s castle and fight off hordes of monsters. The game is a tribute to the Castlevania 1 and 2 games, and has a lot of good uses of the 2D Castlevania games. The story is about a knight who wants to save his lady love from the vampire.. Konami is producing a “all-new” Castlevania game, which may satisfy longstanding fans who have been longing for a genuine follow-up to classics like Castlevania: Symphony of the Moon. However, there will be only one location to acquire it.
Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls is a new Castlevania game from Konami that will be available only on Apple Arcade. The game seems to include 3D visuals but conventional 2D platforming action, as well as the artwork of famous Castlevania artist Ayami Kojima, and stars a “persona of Alucard” named Genya Arikado.
Michiru Yamane composed the soundtrack for Castelvania: Grimoire of Souls. Yamane is a Japanese video game composer and pianist who wrote the soundtracks to several iconic Castlevania games, including Castlevania: Symphony of the Night in 1997 and Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance in 2002.
Regardless of what Konami’s marketing staff says, Castelvania: Grimoire of Souls isn’t a brand-new game. That’s because it was launched as a free-to-play game in Canada for iOS and Android consumers in 2019. However, the game was removed off the list when it failed to generate enough interest.
On September 19, 2019, Apple introduced Apple Arcade, a video game subscription service. Users may play over 180 mobile games for $4.99 per month (or $49.99 per year). There are no advertisements or in-app purchases to be concerned about.

Konami has announced that their mobile game Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls is set to release on the Apple Arcade platform sometime next year. This isn’t too surprising, considering that Castlevania: Circle of the Moon and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night are both available on the platform, but the big question is: will the game be exclusive to Apple platforms like the iPhone or iPad, or will it be available on other platforms?.
