We’re excited to announce the new War Zone Octarius Blood Axes rules! Check out the full details and let us know what you think.
The “warzone octarius rising tide release date” is a new update to the game that was released on April 7th, 2019. It adds two new War Zones and updates the old ones.
Warhammer 40k’s new War Zone Octarius Blood Axes has been launched! Orks have a reputation for being ruthless and clannish. Consider the Blood Axes if you want to play an outlier clan–they now have a specific 9th edition codex supplement.
The Blood Axe Clan is regarded with distrust by Orks in the Warhammer realm. Blood Axes engage with Imperials as mercenary crews, trading or battling among them. They’ve also adopted other human-like tactics and methods, like as the tactical retreat–something humiliating, unheard of, or just too logistically difficult for other Ork clans to carry out.
The Blood Axes Codex Supplement, as well as this tactics page, include information on the Blood Axe Ork Clan’s Stratagems, Warlord Traits, and Relics.
Introduction to Blood Axes: Ultimate Ork Clan in 9th Edition
calfCut’s Blood Axe
The Blood Axes’ status as an oddity among Orks doesn’t end with their interactions with Imperium officials. Their other behaviors are particularly repulsive to Orks. The Blood Axes, for example, utilize camouflage to sneak up on the opponent unseen. Camouflage works well with their many Kommandos, who benefit from any tactical advantages of the sneaky-sneak sort.
Blood Axe Warbosses are notorious for combining tactics, since they are more tactical than other Orks. They are often misunderstood by their foes, who believe they are just like any other Ork… They aren’t, however: they are Blood Axes.
The Blood Axes Codex Supplement addresses several early criticisms of the Orks Codex in Warhammer 9th Edition. Specifically, the issue of automobiles impeding Kultur’s progress, as well as Buggies’ flaws.
What is a Detachment of Blood Axes?
Only units with the Blood Axes keyword make up Blood Axes Detachments. Units with Unaligned keywords and Specialist Mobs are exceptions. Consider leading a Blood Axes Detachment to increase your efficacy.
What Are Kombi-Weapons and How Do They Work?
Have you noticed the weapons that have the term “kombi” in the profile? It’s a Kombi-weapon if the weapon contains that term or if it’s a Relic that replaces one. They are, as the name implies, weapons that combine two weapon types–the Orks’ version of chaos and Imperial combi-weapons.
Why Should You Play Blood Axes?
Because they’re distinct from the other Ork clans, the Blood Axes make for a fascinating story. The Blood Axes could be a good contingent for your Ork army if you’ve always wanted to play some of the more well-thought-out, tactical tactics that are normally reserved for Orks’ opponents. While the majority of your Orks may go all out bludgeoning opponents, your Blood Axes can be more stealthy and strategic.
Blood Axes are extremely powerful on a table with a lot of terrain or against poorly armored forces like Tyranids or even Dark Eldar.
Blood Axes now has new Warlord Traits.
Three new Warlord Traits for Blood Axes are included in the War Zone Octarius’ Blood Axes 9th Edition Supplement. The Blood Axes Warlord Traits may be used on a Blood Axes Character who is identified as your Warlord. If you don’t have a choice, Games Workshop recommends rolling a D3.
Duk and Kuvva is a song by Duk and Kuvva.
What happens when you have Kommandos and Boyz who like deception and are members of a clan that values camouflage? With the Duk An’ Kuvva Warlord Trait, you receive a Warlord.
How it works: Check to see whether your Warlord is entirely in an Area Terrain feature at the start of your opponent’s Shooting phase. If that’s the case, place one of your Blood Axes Kommandos or Blood Axes Boyz troops in that terrain feature as well. If the enemy models attacking the terrain feature are not within a foot of the terrain feature, your opponent cannot choose that unit for ranged assaults. This Warlord Trait is active till the period ends.
Counta-Tactics is a company that specializes in counting tactics (Aura)
This Warlord Trait represents the fact that Blood Axes are more attentive and tactical than other Orks. Imagine a Warlord yelling instructions and imparting his tactical knowledge to his men so they can respond rapidly.
How it works: If your Warlord is within 6 inches of a friendly Blood Axes Core unit, that Blood Axes Core Unit may conduct Heroic Interventions much like a Character.
Kunnin’ Extra
Some Orks are just astute. Some Blood Axes are even more intelligent.
This Warlord Trait may only be used once every combat round. When you employ a Strategic Ploy Stratagem while this Warlord is on the battlefield, this Warlord Trait is active. Reduce any Stratagem’s CP cost by 1 CP under certain circumstances. For that precise usage of the Stratagem, you can only lower CP cost by 1 CP. It costs the usual number of Command Points to use it in the future.
Blood Axes’ Relics
One Blood Axes Character model may acquire a Shiny Gubbinz Relic instead of another Relic when a Blood Axes Warlord commands your army. When you’re mustering your Ork army, this occurs. These Relics cannot be given to named characters.
Some Relics may be used to replace a model’s wargear. You must still pay the cost of the wargear if this occurs. Remember to keep track of any Shiny Gubbinz Relics that have been allocated to your figures in your army roster.
Blood Axes Relic Noise Box
An Ork of the Blood Axes clan has returned its voxcaster to its deceased owner after defeating an Imperial trooper. He uses the amplification equipment to yell commands. When he’s within a six-inch radius of the ‘Noise Box (Aura),’ he may accomplish the following:
- This unit received a -1 on combat attrition tests.
- Models in this unit’s leadership qualities are -1, however if the model in question has killed any Character units in this combat, its Leadership characteristic is -3.
Relic of Straight Shoota Blood Axes
The Straight Shoota is a cobbled-together weapon, despite its precision. What makes it unique? The Straight Shoota is made up of pieces from the Tau, Aeldari, and Imperial races. This only works if the model has a kustom shoota. The kustom shoota is replaced by the Relic, which has its own profile.
You may disregard the Look Out, Sir rule with Straight Shoota.
Detecta Blood Axes Relic Fight
Greenskin Orks utilize an auspex to discover their next combat fast, making it a battlefield prize. When an opponent is close by, it creates a lot of interesting sounds.
Choose a single Blood Axes Core unity within six inches of the Fight Detecta’s bearer, but not within the Engagement Range of an adversary. If your opponent’s unit is within a foot of the Relic bearer, use this Relic at the conclusion of their Movement phase during their Reinforcements step. As if it were your Charge phase, the selected Blood Axes unit may use a Charge at any time. Increase your charge roll by two.
Stratagems with Blood Axes
Smashed-Tuska Head’s the Daemon-Killer
If your Ork army has a Blood Axes Detachment, you may utilize the following Blood Axes Stratagems. Detachments of the Fortification Network, Super-heavy Artillery, and Auxiliary Support are not included.

If an opponent unit is in Engagement Range of your selected unit, regardless of its abilities, it cannot utilize any rules that allow it to fight first, and its charge movements aren’t counted.

Blood Axes Strategic Ploy Stratagem Spotted
What it looks like: Magic occurs when Orks believe in something. When Blood Axes Kommandos see a well-hidden opponent, they assume the rest of the ladz can see them as well. And it becomes reality because they really believe it.
How it works: At the start of your Shooting phase, use this stratagem. It lasts till the phase is completed. Choose an enemy unit that is within a foot of a Blood Axes Kommandos unit and visible to it. When a Blood Axes model attacks an opponent unit, the enemy unit is treated as though it had no cover.

Speed Freeks Speed Mob (Ork Army of Renown)
Efrel’s Snikkor the Hooman
Are you ready for some rambunctious Orks that are obsessed with speed? The Orks’ mob mentality pervades all areas of their conduct, even their racing. The greenskins encourage and compete with one another, pushing each other to move quicker. You may be more mobile, advance, and shoot your opponent with the Speed Freeks Speed Mob.
Some Orks take it a step further and develop a speed addiction. They take over buggies, scooters, and planes–basically everything that Orks are known to drive. The engine should be as loud as possible. They desire more the quicker it moves. Furthermore, the Speed Freeks strive to be the first to arrive in the conflict. The Speed Mobs are the most obsessive and aggressive members of society.
The Speed Freeks are a group of speed skaters. You can only have one Speed Freeks, Aircraft, or Wagon unit in your Speed Mob, which is an Army of Renown. This is for you if you’ve ever desired an Ork version of the Skitarii.

While this unit is not eligible for a Clan Kultur, other Detachment units are.

Speed Freeks Speed Mob Vehicle Kustom Jobs
