Releases
  • Fire was released in 1980 for the Game & Watch Silver in Japan. In this action game, developed by Nintendo R&D1, the building is on fire and people are jumping out of the windows to get to safety. As the recue team, can you catch them all and return them safely to the ambulance? Move the rescue team left and right to position the life net under the evacuees. When they hit the net they will bounce back into the air. Carry them safely across the courtyard and to the waiting ambulance. Drop three evacuees and the game will end.

  • Boxing was released in 1984 for the Game & Watch Micro Vs. in Japan. This action game, developed by Nintendo R&D1, is a two-player boxing game. Each player can punch high and low or dodge. When a boxer takes three hits, they are forced to take a step backwards. When they take three hits on the far side of the screen, they are knocked out.

  • In Japan, The New Tetris was published on the Nintendo 64 in 1999. There are many major changes in gameplay from the original Tetris in this puzzle game created by H20 Entertainment alongside Blue Planet Software. In addition to clearing lines, 444 big squares of four pieces may be formed to create “blocks.” When a block is made, it becomes solid gold or silver depending on its composition — a block made entirely of the same kind of component is called a “monosquare,” while other combinations are called a “multisquare.”

  • Balloon Fight GB was released in 2000 for the Game Boy Color in Japan. In this platformer game, developed by Nintendo R&D1 with Pax Softnica, coloured graphics and battery-backed memory for helping players save their progress in order to pick any stage of their choice after they completed them feature in this Japan-exclusive port of Balloon Kid. Super Game Boy compatible features such as frames were added as well. This game was released through the Nintendo Power flash RAM cartridge series.

  • In Japan, Rhythm Heaven (also known as Rhythm Paradise in Europe) was published in 2008 for the Nintendo DS. Have you got rhythm in this Tose-developed rhythm game? Some individuals are born with it, while others strive to learn it, and the remainder stand by and watch. That is, until today! Even those with two left feet can tap along to the rhythm in the most bizarre game this side of paradise! It takes tremendous focus, amazing skill, and an unwavering eagle-eye for precision to channel your rhythmic abilities into the DS stylus.
